One of the most beautiful lakes, created by nature in the Mountains of Alatau is Issyk Lake. In 1963 it was tragically ruined by the mudflow. Currently it is being restored and again delights tourists. The Lake lies in the gorge and is surrounded by the chain of mountains in the form of "Kremlin Wall". This is an excellent place for the recreation and picnics. After the excursion to the lake, there is an opportunity to visit an ostrich farm.

Itinerary: Transfer Almaty – Issyk village – Issyk lake was formed by a mountain landslide (90 km). Walking. Lunch. Back to Almaty.
