Temirlik canyon is similar to Charyn canyon. This scenic canyon was formed in Ili valley by a small river Temirlik that inflow the Charyn river. Different birds, including the rare species inhabit the steppes of Temirlik canyon. In the shadows of ash-trees you can enjoy fishing or have a bath in a mountain river. Moon landscapes will give a special pleasure to photo lovers.
Itinerary: Transfer Almaty – Chilik village – Charyn river – Aksai village – Temerlik river canyons (280 km, 4 hours). Walking. Lunch. Back to Almaty.
